The Lotus Evora 400 is the fastest road going car that Lotus has ever produced. Its 3.5-litre supercharged, 24 valve, water cooled, all aluminium engine V6 engine produces 400 hp and can propel this 3,138 pound car from 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. Its aerodynamic package maintains zero lift and increases downforce at high speeds, which can reach 186 mph.
Lotus has just released a video of the Evora 400 lapping the Hethel test rack. Hethel is a small village in Norfolk, England, approximately 10 miles south of the city of Norwich and home of the Group Lotus. The Hethel Test Track is 2.2 miles in length. In use 6 days a week, Sundays are precluded due to noise restrictions, the track is used for testing by Lotus Engineering, Lotus Motorsport, the press, for driver training by Lotus Driving Academy and private events.
